The patented self-attaching system makes GenTent easy to install, with no tools required. The process involves clamping the product to the generator's existing frame, mounting the dual cast fiberglass rods to the clamp system, and securing the waterproof canopy to the clamp system, creating full protection while maintaining the generator's cooling profile.

GenTent offers three product kits to accommodate different generator types: the Universal Kit for open-frame generators, the Inverter Kit for fully encased inverter generators, and the XL Kit for larger portable generators. Each kit is designed to fit a range of generator sizes and configurations, including round or squared vertical frame posts, and can adapt to accommodate features like muffler heat shields and lower electric panels.
